Pictures That Will Make You Cry

May 6th, 2008

I know I said they would make you cry, but this one makes me feel both sad and happy.
The Seasons of Life and Death
I don’t know what happened to the guy in the picture, I don’t know if he died being a good citizen or a bad one, but you gotta stop and believe that if he was a “bad” citizen that he could not be all that bad, look how much his dog felt for him.
Man's Best Friend
I guess Nintendo’s Shy guy had feelings after all

Thanks a lot Cody, now I’m all depressed… You know, the first comic is based on Levingson’s “seasons of life” theory (I think it was Levingson). I ought to print it out to show to my psychology teacher; he’d get a kick out of it amd it’s so true, you know…

The rest were all striking on a deep level Cody. The one with the dog makes you think though. Regardless if that man who died was right or wrong, doesn’t he deserve some sort of compassion and empathy? I guess we can learn a lot from animals.

Didn’t know you were a fan of Calvin and Hobbes Cody. It’s a pretty good comic; it makes you think and reflect…

You know Cody, this entire post makes me want to step back and review my own life. Thanks my friend.

    Cheers mate,
    Dustin

    Cody,

I agree with Dustin, these pictures were very moving,
and they really do make you think.

The photo his that really got to me was the one of your friend and his brother. It makes me realize how much I take my own brother for granted. Thanks so much for posting these, and if you dont’t mind I’m going to use the Calvin & Hobbes one on my Myspace profile. (That one also struck a nerve..)

    Thanks again,

    Valerie

Fact of the matter is that I just try to stay away from the unhappinesses in my life…

I will say thanks for showing me my humane side!!

Hmmm thats really fucked up how that guy in the picture with the money being given away is about 2 steal that money from a poor old man, it shows how some people really dont care about anyone else bu tthemselves, its really sad though, i also think that calvin and hobbes pne really says something about growing up
